Mark is a Marine Corps veteran and retired detective sergeant whose career spanned vice, narcotics, sexual assault, and community policing. His knowledge of the dark corners drives the pulse of their fiction.
Marcy is a registered nurse with advanced degrees in public health and nursing practice. Her voice threads through their stories with quiet intensity — but what informs her perspective goes far deeper. The nature of her current work remains obscure — offering as many questions as it does answers.
They live in the Appalachian foothills where they also raise Katahdin sheep, breed Anatolian Shepherds, and co-produce Crime Raven—a true crime podcast that dives deep into the true stories.
